From start to finish the professionalism spoke volumes. The quote process was detailed and left nothing to chance. The removal of cabinet doors was also quick and the care for the product was obvious. The second stage of paining on site was not quick but who made Renoir rush a job. The finish was basically flawless and no over painting or mess of any kind. The placement of the doors was the icing on the cake. Total professionalism with two men who are experts in their field.

We commissioned True Blue to do a refresh on our existing kitchen cabinets. These had been showing signs of wear, possibly due to low initial quality work, and needed a refresh, but the cabinets themselves were sound. True Blue came at the appointed time to give us a quotation for the work, they made clear the options and colours, and the means by which they would be proceeding. A time was promptly arranged, the cabinet faces were removed for spray painting, and the on-site painting was done in the interim. Again, this was done at specified times, promptly and efficiently. The spray painting completed, the faces were re-installed perfectly. The final result was excellent. About 3 weeks later we noticed a possible deficiency in a couple of corners, extremely minor stuff. We contacted True Blue, sent them a photo, and they came THE NEXT DAY, to remove and respray the pieces. No questions asked, and at no cost to us. There was no attempt to blame us for the problem, there was just a good faith attempt to work out what might have gone wrong on these bits. A very small thing, but they took it very seriously. In summary, they delivered what they promised, at the time and price they promised, and undertook exemplary after-sales service. They have our highest recommendation.

5 Stars is not just enough ! When deciding to update our kitchen I was a little hesitant to have the cabinets refinished as I did not think the end product would be close to the same quality as a new factory finish. So I decided to check out Google and see what was our there for refinishers and came across True Blue who had lots of 5 star reviews. I fired off an email with images of our kitchen and had a response in a few hours.

I spoke with Okko over the phone to set up a site meeting and the moment I met him I knew this was a first class company. True Blue did a fantastic job of painting our kitchen cabinets to a level that our friends and family are in awe when they see how great the cabinets look. Kent took his time and was very meticulous in his work and made sure to leave the kitchen clean and his paint supplies put away so we could use our kitchen when he left for the day. I really appreciated how Okko took his time to explain the whole process and he also made sure that I was happy with my colour decision. He also was very careful to remove and replace the cabinet doors and also made any nessasary adjustments to ensure the cabinet drawers and doors were re-hung properly. Well after a week of enjoying our new kitchen I noticed that two of our drawer fronts had been scratched. I called Okko to have them repaired and I fully expected to pay for the re-paint. Okko came over and took the fronts for re-paint, within 2 days he was back and re-installed the drawer fronts which looked great. I asked how much the cost was and Okko said that there was no charge. What a nice surprise considering he came from North Vancouver to Richmond twice. If you are considering having your cabinets painted do not hesitate to use True Blue, both Kent and Okko are professionals and gentlemen who care about the job they do.

We used True Blue Painting to paint a golden oak kitchen, utility room and fireplace in our rental property. The transformation is remarkable. Okko and Kent were personable, reliable and punctual. Okko and Kent should get 6 stars for the service and quality of work that they provide. There are none of the usual contractor “games” They show up on time and the work is completed to the letter of the contract. Any issues that show up are also dealt with quickly without any renegotiation of cost. They are also honest in what they can accomplish with your cabinets. I would would highly recommend this company for anyone thinking of repainting their kitchen. Too bad they don’t do wood floors as well!
