Dayae Choi (She/Her/Hers)

REGISTERED PHYSIOTHERAPIST

Dayae (pronounced: Dai-yay) is a Registered Physiotherapist who strives for excellence in patient centred care. Her aim is to partner with every patient to achieve their optimal function and help them reach their goals. 

In Australia, Dayae has worked at an outpatient musculoskeletal orthopedic screen, and musculoskeletal and sports injury clinics, where she has gained experience treating a variety of sports injuries. She also has experience working at a neurological rehabilitation centre.

At the University of New Brunswick, she completed a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology (honours). Her honours research focused on workplace health and safety, and ergonomics. While at UNB, she spent a semester abroad at the University of Chichester in England. She then obtained a Master of Physiotherapy Studies at the University of Queensland in Australia. Between her degrees, Dayae has lived in Whistler, Japan, and Australia for snowboarding.

Dayae is a member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association, and the Physiotherapy Association of British Columbia. Dayae is an avid adventurer that truly appreciates the beauty of backcountry snowboard touring, surfing the Pacific Ocean, and exploring British Columbia in general. She can often be found in the North Shore mountains mountain biking, or snowboarding. Dayae looks forward to connecting with the great community of the North Shore to keep them active, and getting back to activities that are meaningful to them.
