Dr Josef Swetz

Chiropractor

Dr. Josef Swetz graduated with distinction from Palmer College of Chiropractic West in 2019. While there, he served as class representative and focused on treating athletes at sports council events. As a third-generation chiropractor from Washington state, Josef enjoys spending his free time fishing, hiking, camping, gardening, skiing, and reading research at coffee shops.

Growing up, Josef played various sports, such as baseball, basketball, and soccer, and competed in breakdance tournaments from Olympia to Seattle, WA. During his preliminary training for the US breakdancing nationals, he sustained a neck injury, which chiropractic care significantly alleviated. This injury, among others, shifted his focus to becoming a chiropractor, aiming to help people restore their health holistically without surgery or prescription drugs, following his family’s 40+ year legacy.

Dr. Swetz, a neuromusculoskeletal specialist, dedicates his practice to restoring his patients’ health and wellness using evidence-based methods. His approach involves combining manual therapy, Graston Technique, low-force adjustment techniques (Activator, Thompson Drop, SOT, Cox Flexion/Distraction), extremity adjustments, dynamic cupping (myofascial decompression), ergonomic advice, diet/supplement recommendations, and exercise/stretching prescriptions to achieve optimal results for injury prevention and rehabilitation.

Dr. Swetz designs treatment plans tailored to each individual’s needs, depending on the chronicity or acuteness of their condition. His focus lies in mobilizing and restoring muscle and joint function so patients can continue pursuing their passions. Ultimately, his goal is to partner with patients in working towards a more active lifestyle, promoting optimal health and wellness.
