Jessica has loved yoga since childhood and is also an avid runner, having completed 20+ half marathons and various other race distances including 5K, 10K, and a full marathon. She also has experience in several multisport races such as the 50km Mind Over Mountain Adventure Race (MOMAR), Tough Mudder events, and sprint triathlons, all of which she completed injury free with the support of yoga and other cross training.
Jessica completed her 200 hour yoga teacher training and is registered with Yoga Alliance. She trained with Kushala Yoga in Port Moody and has been certified since 2021. She is excited to offer group classes at North Shore Sports Medicine. Her Yoga Posture (Asana) classes focus largely on flexibility, form, body alignment, and strengthening. She will be offering Hatha yoga classes for all levels on Wednesdays at 7:00pm and Fridays at 6:30am out of our Brooksbank location, starting in January 2023!
